How Does Transportation/Transition Work?
• We are located in Southwest Missouri, 45 minutes from Springfield Missouri. If you are local or willing to make the drive to pick up your puppy, we not only welcome but also encourage you to come to our home. This way you can personally meet us, the puppies and our adults. For those not local and not willing/able to make the drive we have a few different options available. Our favorite and the one we highly suggest is flying into Springfield yourself to pick up your puppy and then flying back with puppy in cabin. Other options include flying your puppy in a crate to the airport near you, or arranging ground transportation. Depending on our time/availability we may be willing to deliver your puppy or meet part way for a reasonable fee.
•Your puppy will be ready to leave at 8 weeks of age. If for some reason we will need to keep a puppy past the week he/she turned 8 weeks old it must be arranged with us in advance and a reasonable kennel fee of $100 a week or $15 a day will apply. Please look ahead in your schedule and make sure you are free or can make the needed arrangements to accommodate a new puppy in the time period he/she will be ready to go.
•Our puppies are sent off with lots of love, some essentials for transitioning to your home and fun things such as a chew treat/toys. A small bag of food is sent with each baby to help ensure a smooth transition to the food of your choice. His/her health records, microchip info, health exam/ certificate papers etc are included. We always send along a blanket with family scents as well as a leash and collar.
